![]() Mission: Helping People Help Themselves Deacon Rodney and Sister Bridgett Burnham are the founders of A Touch That Changes, a ministry birthed from their own journey of trials, restoration, and God’s grace. Their hearts are fully committed to serving all of God’s people. Deacon Rodney serves faithfully at The Children of God in Christ Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Rodney Coles Sr. Because he knows what it feels like to be overlooked, he now stands as a brother, mentor, and encourager to men who are rebuilding their lives. As a certified NAMI peer‑to‑peer supporter, he helps men secure jobs, access resources, obtain cellphones, and—most importantly—find hope. Every Saturday, he leads a men’s round‑table ministry where brothers speak freely about what’s on their hearts and receive prayer, guidance, and support. Every day, Deacon Rodney goes to the Greenville Shelter to help men with food, transportation to work, and whatever else they need. His hands and heart are always open. Sister Bridgett serves with the same compassion. She supports single mothers with food, babysitting, mentoring, and encouragement. She cooks and delivers meals, helps them shop for essentials, and walks with them through difficult seasons. Her ministry is a lifeline for families who need both love and stability. Together, Deacon Rodney and Sister Bridgett are transforming lives in Greenville, NC. A Touch That Changes is not just a name—it is their calling. Through service, compassion, and the love of God, they are helping families rise, rebuild, and believe again. ![]() |
